Long Run COB LED Strip (SOB) — Buyer Questions
How long can a long run COB LED strip go on one power feed?
It depends on the exact model: voltage, power density, copper cross-section and feed topology set the limit. DENO's constant-current SOB long-run boards are designed for longer single-feed runs than ordinary 24V constant-voltage tape, and the 36V/48V versions reduce current further. Check the run length listed on each product page or send DENO the layout for a calculation.

Does a constant current LED strip really have no brightness drop head to tail?
Each short segment carries its own current regulator, so it draws the current it needs regardless of the volt drop reaching it. Within the model's rated run length this keeps brightness far more even head to tail than unregulated constant-voltage tape, where the far end dims as voltage drops. Beyond the rated length, regulation can no longer compensate.

Can I order 20m or 30m LED strip runs with even brightness?
Often yes, when the model and feed layout are chosen for it — typically a both-ends or mid-feed on 24V, or a higher-voltage 36V/48V board. Voltage drop is never zero; DENO confirms achievable length per model and can supply reels cut to the project run length.

Why is a single-end powered LED strip 24V preferred on site?
One feed means one driver location, one cable pull and one point of maintenance. On refurbishment work where the ceiling is already closed at the far end, a single-end powered run within the model's rated length is often the only practical option — and it removes the second driver from the cost plan.
Is an ultra long dot-free LED strip suitable for cove and architectural projects?
That is exactly what it is built for. Long continuous coves, atrium perimeters and façade lines need both an unbroken luminous line and stable brightness end to end; a dot-free constant-current board delivers both, and roll-to-roll FPCB production avoids intermediate soldered board joints along each reel.
